Floods have seriously damaged the economy of the Azerbaijani Oguz region.
In night from Oct. 7 to 8 the weather in Oguz region has changed dramatically and torrential rains began, the official website of the Emergency Situations Ministry reported. As a result, the rain completely destroyed the rear wall of a house in the Oguz town, the bridge, one car, the energy, gas, and road and communication system of the city. No casualties were reported.
At present, the relevant agencies are taking steps to eliminate the effects of bad weather and determine the amount of the damage.
