Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend К.Zarbaliyeva / Legal proceedings against the person who inflicted physical injuries to a police officer at the Sabail District Police Station of Baku, were instigated.
According to Elchin Sultanov, Sabail district prosecutor, proceedings were instigated against Elshan Javadov on Article 315 (resistance or application of force against policemen) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
The decision of the Court against Huseynov will depend on the results of an investigation held by experts.
Sultanov noted that the policeman serving near the ' Maiden Tower' warned Huseynov twice of violation of social order, after which Huseynov inflicted physical injuries to the policeman.
