Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Agayeva / Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Latvia, Tofig Zulfugarov, reported to Trend on 9 November by telephone from Riga that the future EU Neighborhood Policy will be discussed in Riga at the international conference attended by the high-ranking representatives of Baltic and South Caucasus countries.
Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, will represent the Country at the conference which will take place on 23 November in Riga, the Ambassador said. Taking into consideration the importance of the topic for Azerbaijan, the Minister plans to make a speech at the meeting. In addition, the Minister plans to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts and heads of delegations from other countries.
The diplomat said that within the event, an event is planned to be held dedicated to the activity of "Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM".
