Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 June / Trend corr. E.Babayeva / The chairmen of three regional organizations of the pro-governmental Democratic World of Azerbaijan party (DWAP) were dismissed. "These chairmen committed serious infringement in their activities," Mammad Alizade, Chairman of DWAP, told Trend .
DWAP was planning to hold a meeting in the early June. However, the meeting was postponed due to delay of conferences by range of organizations of the party.
According to Alizade, the chairmen from Agdash, Binagadi and Sabirabad regional organizations were dismissed. "Some opposition newspapers want to connect our party with certain persons. The chairmen of aforesaid organizations attempted to use of this opportunity and committed undisciplined actions," Alizade said.
Alizade stated that there was a serious blackmail against the party. "There were taken steps to worsen the relations of the party with the ruling New Azerbaijan party. We will support the candidature of the incumbent President Ilham Aliyev in the forthcoming presidential elections," Alizade stated.
