Ukrainian President pardons 67 convicts

Ukraine, Kiev, Jan.28 / Trend , Z. Novsvitskiy / Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko issued an order on pardoning 67 convicts, a source in the government said. The basic measure of punishment of 26 convicts was reduced and 41 convicts were released from basic or additional measures of punishment. Moreover, 157 petitions of citizens and national MPs of Ukraine were approved.   

The pardoned convicts are11 women and 56 men including 38 - young, four-old, five-invalids, one-war member, three- members of liquidation in Chernobyl accident, three- suffered from Chernobyl accident, five- having many children and others.
