Son of first president of Georgia Tsotne Gamsakhurdia was accused of an attempt of premeditated murder and attempt of illegal possession of weapons, lawyer Keti Bekauri told the Caucasus Press.

He was charged under two articles 19/108 and the first and second part of article 236. The accusations are groundless, said the lawyer. Tomorrow, the court will consider measures of prior restraint. From the day of arrest, Tsotne Gamsakhurdia has not eaten foods, said the lawyer. He does not find himself guilty.
Representatives of law enforcement officers detained the son of first Georgian president Zviad Gamsakhurdia - Tsotne Gamsakhurdia as he wounded his neighbor David Badzhelidze from firearm. Gamsakhurdia and his lawyer deny the accusation.
