Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze assessed the results of the visit of the CE High Commissioner for Human Rights Thomas Hammarberg as "success of the Georgian diplomacy."
Georgian diplomacy managed to accurately inform the international community. As a result, three Georgians detained in the Tskhinvali prison were released," she said at the traditional briefing today.
Kalandadze said that there are still 10 citizens of Georgia in captivity. Deputy minister expressed hope that negotiations for their release will complete successfully.
"Georgian diplomacy does not have a more important function than to fully inform the international community. Release of three Georgians is part of the success of Georgian diplomacy ", Kalandadze said.
