An Azerbaijani opposition party has nominated 10 more candidates for MPs.
"The names of the candidates for 10 constituencies were determined at a party board meeting," the Azerbaijani Democratic Party (ADP) told Trend.
"Novruz Alikhanov will nominate a candidate in the Thirteenth District of the First Azizbayov Area, Alakbar Safarov will nominate a candidate in the Nineteenth Narimanov Area and Nizami Abdullayev will nominate a candidate in the Thirty-Third District of the First Khatai Area," the party reported.
Parliamentary elections will be held in Azerbaijan in autumn this year. Previously, the elections were held in November 2005. In Azerbaijan, the parliamentary elections are held by the majority system in 125 electoral districts.
So far, the party has nominated about 21 candidates for MPs.
Moreover, Gasham Abishov will nominate a candidate in the Forty-Third District of the Sumgayit Area, Bahadur Hajiyev in the Forty-Fourth District of the Sumgayit-Absheron Area, Ali Rafiyev in the Forty-Seventh District of the Mingachevir Area, Nazila Soltanova in the Fiftieth District of the Guba-Khizi-Shabran Area, Rauf Hajıyev in the Sixty-Fourth District of the Second Sabirabad Area, Dashgın Nuriyev in the Sixty-Nineth District of the Jalilabad-Masallı-Bilasuvar Area, and Majid Yusifov in the One-Hundred-Twelfth District of the Gakh Area.
