Georgian parliamentary speaker leaves for France

Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze will visit France today.

He will attend a session of the Western European Union Parliamentary Assembly, Bakradze said before leaving for Paris.

According to the official, Georgia will be granted the status of a partner country at the assembly and the Georgian parliament will have a permanent delegation in the organization.

Bakradze instructed the Georgian Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee to prepare the appropriate amendments to establish a permanent parliamentary delegation in the Western European Union Parliamentary Assembly.
