The employees of the Uzbek embassy, as well as many other diplomatic missions in Japan, are working in normal regime, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry's Information Agency "Jahon" reported.
"In addition, to ensure safety, the Uzbek side gradually returns the family (wife and children) of diplomats and also assists the Uzbek citizens, who is going to temporarily leave Japan until the normalization of the radiological situation," the report said .
The agency refuted the information spread by the online newspaper "CentrAsia" (www.centrasia.ru) about that allegedly Nigora Usmanova on behalf of the embassy staff' wives appealed to President Islam Karimov with a request for a temporary return of diplomats. Jahon reported that Nigora Usmanova is not listed among the family members of embassy staff.
