Turkmen vice prime minister to visit Russia

A governmental delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Deputy Prime Minister Nazarguly Shagulyev will visit the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation on Aug. 8-10.

According to official Turkmen sources, the visit will take place upon the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The main objective is to develop Turkmen-Russian co-operation and to get acquainted with new kinds of "KAMAZ" cars.

Recently, the Director General of "KAMAZ" JSC Sergey Kogogin held high-level talks in Ashgabat. And a new contract was discussed during the talks with President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who visited Ashgabat last year. Then it was reported that Turkmenistan intends to purchase more 1,000 of "KAMAZ" cars and special technics.
The largest training and sales service center of "KAMAZ" in Central Asia is located in Ashgabat, since the total number of "KAMAZ" cars in Turkmenistan totals about 10,000.

The automobile concern of Tatarstan offers Ashgabat the cars of different models and capacity to transport various cargoes, as well as special equipment on the basis of "KAMAZ". Experts say the engines of all cars meet the latest requirements of the European Union on parameters of economy and environmental safety.

"KAMAZ" has also agreed to conduct work to improve some modifications of "KAMAZ" vehicles, taking into account climatic characteristics of Turkmenistan.
