Azerbaijan, Baku, July 26 / Trend A. Taghiyeva /

The Egyptian court ordered to arrest ousted President Mohamed Morsi for 15 days within the ongoing investigation on July 26, Al Arabiya TV channel said on Friday.

According to the TV channel, the court accused Morsi of cooperating with Hamas, as well as the escape from prison during the revolution in 2011.

Clashes between supporters and opponents of President Mohamed Morsi have been ongoing in Egypt after the Egyptian military suspended the constitution and ousted Morsi on July 3.

Egyptian Islamists do not accept these decisions and demand the return of power to the legally elected president.

On July 10, Egypt's Prosecutor General's Office ordered the arrest of leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood movement. Morsi's exact location has not been reported. It is only known that he is being held by the military in an Interior Ministry building.
