By urging people to fight against terrorists, the Egyptian army has ruined Muslim Brotherhood's plans on seizing control over state objects, Egypt's Salafi movement leader Najih Ibrahim said, Al Arabiya reported on Monday.
According to Ibrahim, the ousted president Mohamed Morsi had to give up the power himself, and then it would have been possible to avoid such a number of victims.
On July 3, the Egyptian army ousted Islamist-president Mohamed Morsi from power, suspended constitution and asked the head of the Constitutional Court to act as the country head during a transitional period.
On July 26, Egypt's court made a decision to arrest Morsi for 15 days under the ongoing investigation. The court accused Morsi of cooperation with Hamas, as well as, the escape from prison during the revolution in 2011.
