Azerbaijan , Baku / corr. Trend S.Agayeva / The Iranian side explained the reasons of violating the air borders of Azerbaijan through non-intentional actions. According to the Head of the Press-Service of the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan , Mejid Feyzullai, the President of Iran, Mahmud Ahmadnejat, really was in Iranian Astara city in the morning of February 22, which borders with Azerbaijan . The helicopters violating the air borders were accompanying the Head of Iran during the trip.
On February 22 at 11:00, 3 Iranian helicopters flew over Astara district of Azerbaijan for nearly one hour. The information was also confirmed by the Astara Executive Power of Azerbaijan.
