Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr K. Zarbaliyeva / The head and deputy head of the Beylagan District Police Department have been removed.
The Azerbaijani Interior Ministry has reported that the Interior Minister issued an order to dismiss the head of the police department, Tarlan Nuriyev, his deputy, Murshud Alikarimov, and some other employees due to mistakes in implementing the office duties.
Ehsan Zahidov, spokesman for the Interior Ministry, has rejected all reports on detention of these people by the Ministry of National Security and institution of criminal proceedings on them.
