Azerbaijan, Baku, 8 July / Trend corr I.Alizade/ Expert will be invited from the United States to research the mass burial place discovered in Azerbaijan's Guba region. "Photos and videos proving genocide was committed against Azerbaijanis in Guba will be delivered to US-based centres. Later, high-level specialists will be invited to Guba," MP Havva Mammadova said to journalists on 7 July.
A mass burial place was discovered during construction of a stadium in Guba region in mid-April 2007. Experts said that disorderly buried bodies and other factors proved for the genocide of Azerbaijanis realized by Armenians in 1918. So far, 190 human remains have been found, with 48 of them children's, 51 - women's and remaining - elderly people's.
Employees of the Institution of Archaeology & Ethnography at Azerbaijan's National Academy of Sciences are digging the area. MPs Havva Mammadova, Baba Tagiyev and US-based Azerbaijani Rahim Shahbazi visited the mass burial place on 6 July.
Mammadova said photos and videos about the bones of the people who underwent genocide in Guba would be distributed in US community.
Guba is located 170km north of Baku.
