Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Head Mahmud Karimov and Rector of the Tabriz University Muhammedtagi Alavi have signed an agreement on cooperation in education and research, the İRNA news agency reported.
The agreement reflects the exchange of scientific expertise, expansion of relations in the development of collaborative research, training of scientific specialists, creation of a joint Council on Scientific Cooperation and admission of students to study in the doctoral studies in engineering, agriculture, livestock and the human sciences.
Under the agreement, the Iranian students seeking the education in the ANAS will get such opportunity, after passing the test in the Tabriz University.
The sides established a joint commission to implement the agreement.
