Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov.21/ Trend A.Taghiyeva /

Six people were executed for cooperation and espionage in favour of Israel in the Gaza Strip yesterday, Palestinian newspaper "Ma'an" reported.

It is reported that they were executed without any investigation and trial, which caused the indignation of many Palestinian politicians. Some MPs called killing of those suspected in espionage as lynching and urged the authorities to look into the incident.

Israel's military operation in Gaza lasts already for a week and confined itself to remote attacks yet. But Israeli officials state about willingness to bring troops into the enclave, if other means of the conflict resolution does not work.

Israeli attacks killed more than 140 Palestinians, most of whom are civilians.

On Tuesday, HAMAS representatives announced that the truce in the enclave will come into force on the Wednesday night, but Israel continues to insist on international guarantees of halting rocket fires and weapon smuggling into the enclave.
