The capital of Azerbaijan claims to host the IV Islamic Olympic Games in 2017, Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov told media today.
The Executive Committee of the Olympic Games will make a decision. Azerbaijan is the only country which has put forward its candidacy for hosting the games.
The final decision will be taken in September.
