BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 6. Azerbaijan Railways CJSC has achieved a remarkable milestone by transporting over 7.6 million passengers from January through November this year, reflecting a significant 20 percent increase compared to the same timeframe last year, Trend reports.
Furthermore, it was observed that the increase in the number of passengers and foreign visitors on the Baku-Gabala-Baku route reached 64 and 33 percent, respectively.
“In 2023, for the first time in its history, Azerbaijani Railways provided transportation of more than 7 million passengers," the information notes.
