The Nizami Literature Institute of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Azerbaijan hosted a scientific conference on Contemporary Recognition of Azerbaijani Poetry in 20th century, dedicated to the 100th jubilee of renowned Azerbaijani poet, Samad Vurgun.
The NAS informed Trend that the speakers to the event underlined the significance of the poet creative activities in the Azerbaijani poetry. Later the conference heard a report on Factor of Literature Character in the Estimation of Poetry of 20th Century.
