An Exhibition-Conference Tacit Witnesses of Imaginary Armenian Genocide, as well as a photo exhibition devoted to the topic of groundlessness of statements on so-called genocide toward Armenians in the Ottoman Empire are expected to be opened by an initiative of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Friendship Society (TADER) in Istanbul today, Trend reports
The exhibition is organized in the centre of Academy of District Beylukduzu. Sayyad Salahli, where the Consul General of Azerbaijan to Istanbul is expected to take part in the work of the conference.
Participants of the event will stress the falsity and groundlessness of Armenian statements on the so-called genocide, based on historical facts.
Salikh Bayraktar, Head of TADER, said that Turkey had faced the propaganda and accusations of Armenian lobby internationally. However, the truth based upon concrete facts and archive materials will support Ankara.
Armenians have published thousands of books based upon false evidence, trying blackening Turkish international image. However, all their attempts are doomed to failure, said Mr. Bayraktar. Notably, the exhibition will be open for visiting till December 9, 2006.
