BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 12. The foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan from January through October 2022 totaled $46.63 billion (considering the statistical cost of crude oil and natural gas, the customs clearance of which was not completed), including export - $35.04 billion, and import - $11.5 billion, Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
As a result, the trade surplus exceeded $23.4 billion.
According to the committee, during the accounting period, legal entities and individuals in Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with partners from 181 countries.
Azerbaijan from January through October 2022 exported its products to 121 countries and imported from 169.
The foreign trade turnover at current prices increased by 68.6 percent, whereas in real terms - by 9.3 percent, including export - by 13.3 percent and imports - by 1.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
