BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 13. The Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan from January through November 2022 issued soft loans worth 119.6 billion manat ($70.3 million) which is 17.7 percent more than in the same period of the previous year, Trend reports citing press service of the fund.
According to the fund, a total of 2,343 projects were funded for 11 months.
The issued loans will create 2,594 new jobs.
The Entrepreneurship Development Fund plans to allocate soft loans worth 140 million manat ($82.3 million) to business entities in Azerbaijan in 2022.
The fund has issued soft loans totaling 2.8 billion manat ($1.64 billion) so far.
