BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. Azerbaijan has decreased propylene manufacturing by 10.6 percent to 118,000 tons (including 113,600 tons for the production of commercial propylene) from January through November 2022 in comparison with the same rate of the previous year, Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
During the accounting period, Azerbaijan produced 489,500 tons of methanol, a 43.3 percent increase over the previous year's rate.
In comparison to the same period in 2021, ethylene manufacturing in Azerbaijan has decreased by 20.1 percent to 123,500 tons.
The manufacturing of polyethylene in Azerbaijan during the accounting period of 2022 was 118,800 tons, which is 22.3 percent less than the same rate of the previous year.
