BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 27. All the bus terminals in Azerbaijan are going to be included in the biletim.az system of online ticket sales, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency.
According to the agency, today, citizens can buy online tickets to 13 destinations, precisely, from Baku to Ganja, Gazakh, Barda, Mingachevir, Goychay, Shaki, Zagatala, Gakh, Guba, Gusar, Khudat, Astara, and Lankaran, as well as in the opposite direction.
"Ticket sales start 10 days before the day of the trip. In addition, the portal has a number of advantages in terms of saving time, ensuring customer satisfaction, and increasing the turnover of non-cash payments in the country," said the agency.
"The online ticket sales system will gradually cover all bus terminals. In order to buy a ticket, passengers need to go to the biletim.az website and register. The mobile application of the Biletim system has also been launched. The app for mobile devices can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play," the agency added.
The biletim.az portal was launched on December 15 to sell tickets for intercity and interdistrict regular bus routes.
