BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 28. A total of 22 companies with Kyrgyz capital were registered in Türkiye from January through November 2022, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) said, Trend reports via TurkicWorld.
This figure is 3 companies more than in the same period of 2021.
It was noted that during the accounting period, despite the increase in the number of registered Kyrgyz companies, their total capital decreased.
"In the reporting period, the total capital of Kyrgyz companies registered in Türkiye amounted to 3.6 million Turkish liras ($193,161), while in the same period of 2021, this figure was 3.9 million Turkish liras ($209,268)," said the statement.
The majority of the Kyrgyz companies (19) were registered in Istanbul from January through November 2022.
"The total capital of Kyrgyz companies registered in Istanbul amounted to 3.2 million Turkish liras ($170,963)," said the statement.
Out of the total number of registered companies, 11 companies are engaged in wholesale and retail trade. The remaining companies operate in other sectors of the Turkish economy.
