BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 4. Azerbaijan Railways CJSC has launched an electronic work permit system that significantly optimizes the process of document registration and processing, Head of the Freight Transportation Department of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Emil Ahmadov told Trend.
The newfangled innovation has, by all accounts, led to a marked uptick in data accuracy, cutting down on errors, and speeding up the document handling process.
Ahmadov noted that simplifying corporate processes and improving client interactions have both been achieved with the new tool.
"The newly established digital work permit method diminishes freight operating durations from multiple hours to merely 20 minutes. This functionality, present in the 'Freight Operations Service' module of the 'AR SMART' system, enables clients to electronically apply for permits, generate electronic waybills, and swiftly obtain processed financial documents, along with automatically calculated service rates.
Due to this automated process, clients may monitor all phases and statuses of their permits via their online accounts, thereby conserving crucial time," he said.
