Azerbaijan, Baku, 9 July / Trend / By the decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Automobile Transport State Service has been established in Azerbaijan on the basis of Transport Ministry's Avtonaqliyyatservis LLC (automobile transport department), which is being eliminated.
The new organization will design an action plan on development of automobile transport in Azerbaijan and to submit it to country's president.
Regulations must be developed and vehicles implementing cargo and passenger transportation must be quarterly checked to reveal their conformity with requirements of operation, ecology, safety and technical requirements.
The new decree enacted rules for issuance of special permissions for traffic of large-dimension and heavy loaded road freight transport via highways.
President also approved the Law on Automobile Transport.
