Kazakhstan, Astana, 23 July / corr. Trend K.Konirova / HSBC bank opened its office in Astana, increasing the number of its offices in the Central Asia, the bank said.
"The bank plans to open three offices in Kazakhstan in 2008. Opening of Atirau Office is under preparation. HSBC plans to open network of offices in all huge cities of the country in mid-term," the bank said.
"Kazakhstan's economy rapidly grows and favors the development of contemporary banking products and services. HSBC, one of huge international banks, is prepared to render such products and services," Tony Mahoney, manager of HSBC Bank plc group, said.
About 15mln people live in Kazakhstan. This is the ninth world biggest country. Recently, Kazakhstan has been one of key developing markets because of its market policy, favorable climate for foreign investors, as well as, natural wealth.
