In 2009, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts the highest growth of incomes of the Azerbaijani government at 42.9 percent of GDP in Caucasus and Central Asia, the IMF's official Web site reported.
An average growth of governmental incomes will be 30.6 percent in the region's countries in 2009, the IMF said.
The IMF forecasts that the growth of Georgia's governmental incomes will make up 26 percent, Kazakhstan - 25.1 percent, Kyrgyzstan - 23.5 percent, Tajikistan - 19.1 percent, Turkmenistan - 21.3 percent, Uzbekistan - 37.7 percent and Armenia - 19.1 percent.
According to the IMF's forecasts, Azerbaijan ranks fourth on growth of governmental incomes amongst the countries of Middle East and Central Asia. Iraq ranks first with 64.5 percent, Kuwait - second with 62.9 percent and Libya - third with 59.1 percent.
An average growth of governmental incomes will be 27.9 percent in the countries of Middle East and Central Asia in 2009, the IMF reported.
