Georgian Economic Development Minister Zurab Pololikashvili has invited businessmen to cooperate in developing a new strategy on economic development.
A strategy that covers a three-year period, will be ready in six months and both the Georgian businessmen and foreign experts will take part in its development, the minister said on the eve of the meeting with 200 Georgian and foreign businessmen in the Tbilisi Marriott Hotel.
Pololikashvili also stated that the document will be the foundation for a new wave of economic development in post-crisis period. Next week the government will begin to hold permanent meetings with businessmen to create this strategy.
It will be a continuation of "an act of economic freedom", which will approve fundaments of the country's liberal economy, the minister added.
