The Azerbaijani Ministry for Emergency Situations designs a plan of actions to control the quality of work in the construction sector in Azerbaijan, director of the center for evaluation of construction of the state agency for construction safety under the ministry, Kamil Muradov said on October 23.
"The ministry is currently continuing monitoring in the construction sector to identify unqualified buildings," Muradov said.
He said that development of legal documents to determine quality of work in construction will be one of important security measures in the construction sector.
Introduction of licensing of construction companies, which is not carried out in Azerbaijan, will improve the quality of construction, Muradov said.
At present, Azerbaijan gives licenses to architects, designers. It is also important to ensure compliance and quality of construction in Azerbaijan.
"After introduction of licensing of construction companies and regulatory documents for the construction sector, companies that meet the relevant requirements and standards of construction quality will remain on the market ", Muradov said.
