There is still a volatile situation on the real estate market of Baku, chief expert of the "MBA Group" consulting company Firuddin Ahmadli said on Nov. 14.
"The activity of the real estate market fell by 10 percent in October," said Ahmadli.
He said the activity of the primary housing market declined by 5 percent, prices fell by 1.3 percent, and by 18.5 percent compared to early 2009. An average price per square meter on the primary market is $890.
On the secondary housing market, activity dropped by three percent, prices - by 1.7 percent and by 14.08 percent compared to early 2009. An average price per square meter on the secondary housing is $1,379, the expert said.
Ahmadli said that the land market of Baku is currently experiencing "stagnation", the activity in October fell by 15 percent, and prices - by 0.2 percent, and by 17.95 percent compared to early 2009. An average price of one hundred square land is $17.782.
In October, the activity of commercial bfacilities market dropped by 0.2 percent and was $3,605 per square meter. Prices fell 4.49 percent since early 2009.
Ahmadli said an average price for renting an apartment in Baku is $732. Prices fell tby 6.63 percent since early 2009.
