The new draft on Tax Code will be presented May 15, Prime Minister Nika Gilauri said at a closed meeting with businessmen.
Georgian Businessmen Association Vice-President Soso Pkhakadze said the association worked on a new version of the code for half months. The government agrees with most of the changes proposed to the code and the bill will be presented in mid-May.
International Energy Corporation Director General Natii Turnavy said the main problem in the current tax code was in its articles that allowed dual interpretation and the government recognized this.
