The structures of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport continue to work in three-shift regime within elimination and prevention of natural disasters caused by the flood in the Kur river, the Transport Ministry said today.
Within a few days six kilometer of 16-kilometer road Musali-Merzeli was restored. Also the bridge on 68 kilometer of the road Hajigabul-Bahramtepe has been temporarily opened given intensity of the traffic of cars, as well as ensuring the transport of goods.
The main goal of the worksheld by the Ministry is ensuring security of the population and the surrounding villages, as well as prevention of erosion of main roads as a result of floods.
