Iran imported 10 tons of gold worth $370 million last month (from June 22 to July 22), Iranian Fars news agency quoted the country's official statistics.
During three months from beginning of this year, which begins from March 21 in Iran, 13 tons gold worth $483 million were imported from Turkey, UAE, Russia and Switzerland.
Last year Iran imported 22 tons of gold worth $796 million. Some 68 percent of the imported gold falls to UAE, 27 percent to Turkey and 5 percent - Russia.
