Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover with 102 countries comprised $4.717 billion in January -February 2011, the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee reported. The figure increased by 23.7 percent compared to January-February 2010.
The black ink of import-export operations amounted to $2.062 billion.
In total 2,673 legal entities (1,783) and physical entities (890) participated in the foreign trade operations.
The amount of export hit $3.39 billion in January-February 2011 or 9.2 percent more compared to the same period of 2010. The share of public sector in exports totaled $3.23 billion, private - $ 146.993 billion and physical entities - $11.825 million.
Imports totaled $1.327 billion, which increased by 87.15 percent compared to the same period of 2010.
The share of public sector in import operations amounted to $525.22 million, the private sector - $742.402 million and physical entities - 59.87 million.
