The administrative building of State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) will be built by mid-2013, the executive director of SOFAZ Shahmar Movsumov said at a press conference.
"At present, a general contractor of the project has not been chosen yet," he said. The preparatory work is underway."
The foundation of a new administrative building was laid in December 2009 with the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
SOFAZ's new administrative building will have 23-storeys. The height of the building will be 117 meters.
The project has been prepared by the French company İnter Art Etudes. The U.S company AECOM is the consultant.
SOFAZ was established in 1999.
