The Ernst&Young company has reported that the majority of foreign investors, who are working in Kazakhstan, are satisfied with their work in the country.
The research showed that 81% of respondents believe that their decision about investing in Kazakhstan was right, Caspionet reported.
"Investors believe that the large scale measures that the government is implementing for the development and support of separate areas of the economy is a positive factor. These aspirations of Kazakhstan resulted in the adoption of international norms in business organization and it favours the attraction of direct investments into the country", Zhanna Tamenova, Ernst & Young partner said.
37% of respondents talked about the highest level of political and social stability. Foreign investors said that poorly developed infrastructure and complexity of administrative procedures interrupt capital investments.
"One of the issues we should tackle as quickly as possible is the issue of workforce capacity. First of all, this is the development of technical professions. Due to objective reasons, Kazakhstan is lagging behind modern technologies and modern production plants are in need of the introduction of modern technologies", Tamenova said.
According to the Ernst&Young survey, 31% of respondents believe that the investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan will increase during the next 3 years.
