Yerik Balapanov was appointed as the Chairman of the Management Board to Kazakh BTA Bank at the first meeting of the Board of Directors of BTA Bank with new members in participation of Creditor Directors, the bank reported on Tuesday.
Moreover, three new Managing Directors were elected at the meeting of the Board of Directors.
"Dzhanna Akhmetzhanova (risk management), Natalya Loginova (financial unit), Kunsulu Kapbasova (retail business) have been elected as Members of the Management Board by a resolution of the Board of Directors," the bank said.
Powers of First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Members Nikolai Varenko, who has submitted a letter of resignation upon his own initiative, are terminated by the same resolution of the Board of Directors.
BTA Bank is one of the largest Kazakh banks. The bank has a debt worth $4.4 with repayment term of 20 years. Its main shareholder of the Bank is Kazakh National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna.
