U.S.-Kyrgyzstan trade turnover increases by 3.7 percent

The trade turnover between the U.S. and Kyrgyzstan amounted to $211.2 million increasing by 3.7 percent during last year, KyrTAG quotes the country's deputy Minister of Trade and Antimonopoly Oleg Pankratov on Wednesday as saying.

He added that the U.S. remains one of Kyrgyzstan's important trade partners.

Pankratov added that the trade turnover between the countries increased by 3.7 times from $56.6 million to $211.2 million during the period between 2000 and 2011.

The export of goods to the U.S. made $600,000, while the import amounted to $210.6 million.
