Inflation hit 0.6 percent in Kazakhstan in September, head of the Kazakh National Bank Grigory Marchenko told journalists on Wednesday, Kazinform reported.
The food products rose in prices by 0.4 percent in the reporting period, non-food products - by 0.2 percent, services - by 1.3 percent.
Inflation amounted to 3.9 percent in Kazakhstan in January-September 2012. Food products prices increased by 3.2 percent, non-food products prices - by 2.2 percent, services - by 7.5 percent.
The annual inflation reached 5 percent in September 2012. Food prices increased by 4.4 percent in this period, non-food products prices - by 3.4 percent, services - by 7.5 percent.
