An agreement on visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic passports was signed during the Uzbek-Polish political consultations in Warsaw, the Uzbek foreign ministry said.
During the consultations the delegations of the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Poland discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries.
The representatives of the sides emphasized that the fruitful interstate cooperation is based on solid legal foundation, which includes about 50 bilateral documents in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, as well as the joint mechanisms for cooperation.
"The two sides expressed readiness to further support the mutually beneficial contacts in various areas, as well as between the business circles of Uzbekistan and Poland, exchange the visits of business delegations, hold the forums and presentations of investment potentials of the two countries," a statement said.
Other issues of the Uzbek-Polish agenda were considered during the consultations.
