BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 31. More than 23 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $8.26 billion were exported from Iran’s Bushehr Province (southern Iran) for the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2023), Customs Inspector of Bushehr Province Customs Office Ali Soleimani said, Trend reports.
The official noted that the province's non-oil export for the reporting period rose by 9 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
However, he did not clarify whether the export increased or decreased in terms of value.
According to Soleimani, the main exported goods consist of petrochemical products, gas condensate, construction materials, cement, various species of fish, shrimp and vegetables.
The customs official also said that the province's goods were mainly exported to China, the UAE, India, Türkiye, Pakistan and other countries.
The IRICA latest data shows that Iran exported about 102 million tons of non-oil products worth $36.4 billion in the first 9 months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2023). This represents a 0.68 percent drop in value, but a 26.5 percent rise in volume compared to the same period last year.
