The Ministry of Taxes has launched initial researches into the expediency of the issue of financial amnesty in the country, Natik Amirov, the Deputy Minister of Taxes, told Trend.
According to Amirov, legalization of the property and incomes are the important task for transition to general declaration system. However, the development of appropriate legal basis will start following the issue of financial amnesty, if its conduct is regarded as expedient in Azerbaijan.
The deputy minister said that the events were designed under the State Program on improvement of tax administration in Azerbaijan in 2005-2007. Meanwhile, in accordance with the State Program on fighting corruption a process of declaration of property of state officers and Ministry of Taxes has presented a form of declaration to the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers.
