Tural Sigorta insurance company is experiencing change of founders and Azerbaijan's Bank Respublika can become its new owner.
The shareholders of the bank are considering the issue. "New powerful insurance companies will promote rise in professionalism and competitiveness," a representative of an Azerbaijani large insurance company said. There are 29 insurance companies in Azerbaijan.
Insurance premiums of the companies made up AZN 70.68mln in the 1st half of 2007 with payments comprising AZN 16.26mln.
