Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 July / Trend / In January to June the Marketing and Economic Operations Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 7.4mln tons of oil and 1.1mln tons of oil products, the State Customs Committee reported.
SOCAR produces oil on more than 57 fields independently. The oil products are produced at two Baku oil refineries with a capacity of more than 20mln tons per year. SOCAR sells its oil via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Novorossiysk pipelines.
According to data provided by the State Customs Committee, in January to June QKSSS Company exported 82,000 tons of oil products from Azerbaijan, Azneftyag Refinery - 53,000 tons and Sumgayit Ashgarlar - over 23,000 tons.
