Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 July / Trend / Turkey will import 5bln cu m of gas from Azerbaijan in 2008, Botas state company stated in its updated forecast on export and import operations of the country. Azerbaijan will export 6.6bln cu m of gas to Turkey a year from 2009 to 2020.
Turkey will import 96.6 cu m of gas from 2008 to 2009. This figure will make up 52bln cu m of gas in 2010, and about 41.5bln cu m a year from 2015 to 2020.
In 2008 Turkey will import natural gas in the volume of 46.3bln cu m from different sources, including Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran, Angola and Nigeria. This volume includes 26bln cu m of the Russian gas, 9.6bln cu m of the Iranian gas, 5bln cu m of the Azerbaijani gas, more than 4.4bln cu m of the Angolan gas and 1.3bln cu m of the Nigerian gas.
Lump volume of natural gas delivery to Turkey makes up about 50bln cu m in 2009, which includes 28bln cu m of the Russian gas. In 2009 Iran will deliver 9.6bln cu m of gas, Azerbaijan - 6.6bln cu m, Angola - more than 4.4bln cu m and Nigeria - 1.3bln cu m.
In 2010 Turkey will import about 52bln cu m of natural gas, including 30bln cu m of natural gas from Russia and the volume of delivery from Iran, Azerbaijan, Angola and Nigeria will be the same as in 2009.
Turkey will import about 41.5bln cu m of gas from 2015 to 2020. Russia will deliver 24bln cu m of gas, Iran - 9.6bln cu m, Azerbaijan - 6.6bln cu m, Nigeria - more than 1.3bln cu m and Angola will cancel its gas delivery during this period.
