Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 October / Trend / Operating Wells Fund of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), excluding joint ventures and operating companies, totalled 6,053 wells by 1 October 2008 (6,175 wells by 1 October 2007), SOCAR said.
Operating wells numbered 4,806 (4,901 by 1 October), idle wells - 1,230 (1,260 by 1 October 2007), wells under development - 17 (14 by 1 October 2007).
